What to wear in Las Vegas

When visiting Sin City there’s a few things running through one’s mind. Where will I stay? What shows should I visit? What are the best parties in town? And the list goes on, but the number one question on my mind as I prepared for this trip was what do I wear in Las Vegas!

I always assumed Vegas was hot year round, and while their winter doesn’t compare to the tri-state region, their nights are cold. Making it all that more difficult to find clothes that wouldn’t make me sweat during the day, but would keep me warm enough during the nights. I read somewhere on Pinterest that Vegas is the time to go big or go home! No one is going to look at you sideways if you’re “overdressed” because we all have the unspoken understanding that it’s VEGAS! I took that straight to my closet as I laid out my best picks for this trip.

Now before we jump in, check the weather! I would think that is an obvious statement but I’ve been so surprised by how many people go on trips, pack clothes for their trips and have no idea what the temperature is going to be like.

What to wear in Las Vegas in the Daytime

The days were 65/70s, which is ideal if you’re walking around. I had either a denim jacket or a leather jacket for my looks, incase I was in a shady area. But when under the sun directly, I didn’t need it. I opted for bold colors and power suits because again WHY NOT? It’s Vegas!

What to wear at night in Las Vegas

For the first two nights out I opted for pants because coldness ain’t cute. I picked leather because leather is always stylish but also super warm! High waisted pants and a cute top do the trick, trust me!

What to wear to dinner in Las Vegas

This is where I decided to just go for it! I love monochromatic type looks and when I found this dress that looked exactly like my Zara boots I just knew I had to have it! It was also super comfortable since it was structured. Vegas is the place to do something out of the box with your wardrobe and this fit easily got the most compliments on this trip! Proud styling moment!
