Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Stuck on what to do this Valentine’s Day? Make it a day to remember with one of these special ideas. Keep reading for more!

Ice Skating

Let it go! That’s the song that comes to mind when I’m ice skating! Such a freeing song and often a romantic experience. If you like to be active, try ice skating this year for Valentine’s Day! Nothing beats skating with under the night sky with the one you love. Looking for a place to go? Visit Bryant Park or the Central Park Rink. (You can always visit an indoor ice rink if the weather goes against ya)

Cooking Class

I could eat at any given point in a day! So instead of cooking at home, attend a class a learn how to make a new dish… together! Cooking classes can often be great fun because you watch your dish come to life. Switch it up, get dressed up and attend a cooking class!

Fancy Dinner

Classics will always be it for me! Nothing beats a candlelight dinner and a nice restaurant. Be sure to book a reservation early as everyone is most likely looking to book a table on the 14th!

Sports Game

Now ladies, you may not be a sports fan like he is but he will surely appreciate you for this! Take him to a sports game, whether it’s his favorite team, your favorite team or a competitive team. Sitting in the stands with ya man or woman brings back first date vibes and reminds you of your love!

Poetry Night

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” What’s more romantic than poetry? Take your lovey to a Poetry night for dinner or dessert! The dim lights, the sweet words will certainly bring a you into a romantic mood!

Wine Crawl

A wine tour always sounds like a good idea! Whether it’s local or in the city, you’re bound to have a great time. Everything tastes better with wine!

Broadway Show

I’ve seen the Lion King more times than I can count! Broadway shows are something everyone should experience, and it would be even better on Valentine’s Day!

Dance Class

Dance the night away with your boo at a professional dance class! I’m looking to learn Rumba and tango this year…professionally! My parents are pretty good at salsa, merengue and such but I’d like to leave these two dances to the professionals.

What plans do you have for you boo this 14th? Let me know in the comments below.
